Hiro Takeuchi

Dean, Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy Hitotsubashi University. His current research interests are focused on the role of marketing within a firm's global strategy; the unique features of the Japanese new product development process; competitiveness of Japanese firms in global industries, and the knowledge creation process within organizations. He has co-authored a number of booking including the award-winning "The Knowledge Creating Company." Dr. Takeuchi's business experience includes management consulting work with McKinsey and Company in Tokyo and marketing research and account service work with McCann-Erikson in Tokyo and San Francisco. He is consultant to a number of multinationals and has been a frequent speaker at management conferences and seminars around the world. Dr. Takeuchi is a member of a number of committees formed by government agencies and political organizations in Japan such as the Ministry of International Trade and Industry. In addition, he is a member of the planning board of the World Economic Forum.
