Alan Griffiths is Managing Director of e-communications which exists to help companies use information technology to add value to their products, their people and their profile.

e-communications researches strategic issues on behalf of companies to help refine their spending on new technology and e-learning. Alan Griffiths gives many talks and presentations on this – and also on the best places to locate new e-commerce subsidiaries to give the best mixture of technological and fiscal advantage.

He was Head of Multimedia for BBC News and created the BBC News Online site. He was Editor of Business Programmes for BBC News and is known for his books on business strategy and new technology. His most recent book, Digital Television Strategies, is the first book in the world on the economics of digital television. His first book published in 2001, Quicksilver Companies, is about the battle for the online consumer – and how to ensure that your e-commerce operations can and will make money.
